Support for EU Nationals and Their Families UK

Brexit represents the most fundamental change to immigration law since immigration control began in the 1960s.

Since the referendum on EU membership, our specialist immigration team has been advising both businesses and EU nationals on the impacts of Brexit and how best to insure against these.

How we can help

We offer a bespoke service to EU nationals and their families covering support with:

  • making applications under the EU Settlement Scheme (including those with UK residence prior to 2006);
  • making an application to become a British citizen; and
  • obtaining a first British passport for an EU child.

Please note that from 1 January 2021, only EU nationals and their families who have resided in the UK prior to 31 December 2020 can benefit from the EU Settlement Scheme. Those without residence before that date will need to meet the terms of UK domestic immigration law.

"I would like to say a big thank you to the team from Shepherd and Wedderburn. My wife and daughter’s visas were granted so quickly that I couldn’t believe it. The help I received was absolutely amazing. I would recommend Jacqueline to anyone who is looking for professional help. Five stars."
